SEMH Teaching Assistant

Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: West London
Salary: £90-£100 per day
Start date: April & September
 
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at our school in West London. The successful candidate will have experience working with children who have social, emotional, and mental health needs and will be able to provide support and guidance to help them succeed academically and socially.
 
Key responsibilities:
 

• Working with individual students or small groups to provide tailored support and intervention.
• Supporting students in managing their emotions and behaviour
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to create and implement individualised learning plans.
• Providing feedback and progress reports to parents and caregivers
• Promoting positive relationships and a supportive learning environment

 
Requirements:
 

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and empathy
• A positive and proactive attitude
