Pertemps Education are currently looking for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist school catering for students with speech, language, and communication needs. The successful Primary SEN Teaching Assistant will ideally have experience working with vulnerable adults or children in a special needs setting. This role will start ASAP. 
Here is the school information:

  • The children at this school will all have an EHCP so previous experience supporting students with a variety of special needs is desired.
  • Specialist school for children with speech, language and communication needs 
  • Excellent supportive leadership team.
  • Located within a very short walk of a train station and has onsite parking facilities for those that drive. 

Here is the role information:

  • ASAP start & full-time
  • Permanent position with a salary of between £17,200-£18,500 pa. 
  • This role will involve working within the primary age group.
  • There will be 1:1 and small group work, as well as general classroom support.
  • Full time permanent teaching assistants to work from Monday to Friday (during term time only) from the hours of 8.30am to 5pm
  • The school will regularly have day trips and activities planned, which you will also be expected to support and be involved in

Pertemps Education will require the Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to be fully vetted, including a child DBS certificate on the update service, recent references, right to work checks, and overseas police checks where necessary.
