Sports Coach – Brockley Primary School – September 2025 Start 
Pertemps Education are pleased to be supporting one of our fantastic primary schools in their current search for a Sports Coach, based in Brockley, to begin in September 2025.

Location: Brockley 
Start Date: September 2025  
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm 
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) 
 
About the Role: 

• Morning responsibilities include mentoring pupils, supporting small group interventions, and promoting positive behaviour 

• Supervise and lead engaging activities on the football pitch during break and lunch times 

• Deliver high-quality PPA cover PE lessons every afternoon across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 

• Run a daily after-school sports club until 4:30pm 

• Encourage teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship through structured and inclusive sports sessions 

• Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral leaders to support pupil development and engagement 

 
The Ideal Candidate Will: 

• Have previous experience coaching sports in a school, club, or youth setting 

• Be confident delivering structured PE lessons and activities to primary-aged pupils 

• Have excellent behaviour management and mentoring skills 

• Be energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about promoting physical activity 

• Have a valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
