Specialist Speech & Language Therapist (Band 6/7 Equivalent)
Location: Wandsworth, Southwest London
Position: Full-time or Part-time | Term-time only (39 weeks)
Salary: £39,381 – £52,077 pro rata (£23.67 – £31.30 per hour)
Start date: ASAP

Pertemps Education Network are working in partnership with an outstanding specialist provision in Wandsworth to recruit an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join their established, multidisciplinary therapy team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and passionate therapist to develop specialist expertise within a language-rich environment supporting Deaf and SCLN (Speech, Language and Communication Needs) learners aged 11–19.

The Role:

• Deliver assessment, intervention and therapy for pupils with a range of communication needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and other professionals to embed communication goals across the curriculum.
• Manage your own caseload with regular supervision and peer support from a highly experienced team.
• Contribute to staff training and development of communication strategies across the school.

Requirements:

• HCPC and RCSLT registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience as an SLT.
• Experience working with children/young people with communication and/or hearing needs.
• BSL Level 1 minimum (Level 3 desirable) or willingness to undertake training.
• Knowledge of AAC approaches and enthusiasm for inclusive communication.
