The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join the School’s multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver a communication-rich curriculum with a strong emphasis on outdoor and experiential learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality speech, language and communication interventions.
- Collaborating with teaching and support staff to embed communication strategies throughout the school day.
- Using outdoor and nature-based learning opportunities to develop pupils’ communication, social and emotional skills.
- Providing training, guidance and support to colleagues and families.
- Contributing to EHCPs, reviews, and multi-agency working.
About You
We are seeking someone who is:
- A qualified Speech and Language Therapist with, or working towards HCPC registration.
- Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN and communication needs.
- Creative and confident in using outdoor learning approaches as part of therapy.
- A collaborative team member with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Keen to develop innovative, child-centred practice in a nurturing environment.
