SEN Teaching Assistants – Surbiton, South West London

We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in specialist and mainstream schools across the Surbiton area. These roles support pupils with a range of additional needs and offer both short-term and long-term opportunities.
The Role:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
• Working with children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and complex needs
• Assisting with learning, behaviour regulation and personal development
• Supporting the class teacher with tailored learning plans
• Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage behaviour positively
• Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
