SEN Teaching Assistants – Surbiton, South West London
We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in specialist and mainstream schools across the Surbiton area. These roles support pupils with a range of additional needs and offer both short-term and long-term opportunities.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
- Working with children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and complex needs
- Assisting with learning, behaviour regulation and personal development
- Supporting the class teacher with tailored learning plans
- Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Calm, patient and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage behaviour positively
- Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
