Role Overview: 

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant 

• Location: Greenford

• Contract: 1-Year Temp Contract with Permanent Opportunity 

• Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) 

 
About the Role: 
You will be supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, working closely with teachers and the SEN team to ensure all pupils with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties, can access the curriculum and thrive. Your work will involve both 1:1 support and small group interventions. 
 
What We’re Looking For: 

• Previous experience supporting students with SEN, ideally in a secondary setting 

• A positive, resilient, and empathetic attitude 

• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff 

• Confidence supporting a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs 

• Strong teamwork and communication skills 

 
Your Responsibilities Will Include: 

• Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning needs 

• Assisting teachers in planning and delivering differentiated activities 

• Supporting students’ emotional, social, and academic development 

• Helping to implement EHCP targets and behaviour support plans 

• Encouraging independence and self-confidence among students
