SEN Teacher – Resource Provision

Pertemps Education are delighted to be partnering with a wonderful mainstream primary school in Harrow that is seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join their specialist resource provision on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a small class of just 6–8 pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The successful candidate will benefit from exceptional support, working alongside three dedicated Teaching Assistants and receiving ongoing guidance from a highly supportive Senior Leadership Team.
The Role
- Teach a small class of 6–8 pupils within the school’s specialist provision.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Support pupils with varying levels of ASD and ADHD to achieve their academic and personal potential.
- Work collaboratively with a team of three experienced Teaching Assistants.
- Foster a nurturing, structured and inclusive learning environment.
- Liaise with parents, external agencies and the wider SEND team to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with children with Autism and additional learning needs.
- A patient, nurturing and resilient approach.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting children with SEND.
