About the Role

• Support students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
• Work closely with class teachers to adapt learning materials and provide tailored support.
• Help to create an inclusive and positive learning environment where every student can achieve their potential.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions, supporting both academic progress and emotional well-being.
• Assist with behaviour management, encouraging positive choices and building student confidence.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with SEN students in a UK secondary school setting (essential).
• Strong understanding of strategies to support students with diverse needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with young people, staff, and families.
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• An up-to-date DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
