School Administrator/Receptionist – Immediate Start – Camden 
Pertemps Education are pleased to be supporting one of our fantastic schools in their current search for a School Administrator/Receptionist, based in Camden. 
 
At Pertemps, we’re currently recruiting for a School Administrator/Receptionist in a school after building a strong relationship with a local grouping of schools. They are looking for an experienced School Administrator with experience using SIMS or School Pod ideally, or a candidate with very strong Admin experience looking to make the move into the Education setting. Our Pertemps Services Division specialises in the placement of non-classroom-based staff including Administrators, HR, Finance and Facilities. With years’ experience within the team, we are the best placed recruiter to support you with your needs both inside and outside of the classroom. 
 
Location: Camden 
Start Date: Immediate 
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only 
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm 
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) 
 
About the Role: 

  • Provide front-of-house support, welcoming visitors, parents, and pupils with professionalism and care 
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and parent enquiries in a timely and courteous manner 
  • Manage a variety of admin tasks, including printing, scanning, filing, data entry, and document uploads 
  • Maintain up-to-date pupil and staff records using school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom 
  • Support the School Office Manager with attendance monitoring, safeguarding documentation, and daily office tasks 
  • Assist with the ordering of supplies and general office resource management 
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion 
  • Liaise confidently with parents, carers, and staff throughout the school day 

 
The Ideal Candidate Will: 

  • Have previous experience working in a school office environment 
  • Be proficient in using school data systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom 
  • Be confident dealing with pupils, staff, and families in a fast-paced school setting 
  • Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure 
  • Have a clear understanding of safeguarding procedures and data protection 
  • Possess strong IT skills and excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Hold a valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service
