Pertemps Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in West Drayton who are seeking a qualified PE Teacher with QTS to join their team immediately.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and resilient teacher who is passionate about supporting young people and using sport and physical activity to positively engage students who may have struggled in mainstream education.
The Role

• Deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to secondary-aged students within a PRU setting
• Use sport and physical activity to help improve student engagement, confidence, and wellbeing
• Plan and deliver lessons that are accessible and inclusive for students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Support students in developing teamwork, discipline, and resilience
• Work closely with pastoral staff and the wider school team to support student progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
• A patient, resilient, and supportive approach to teaching
• Experience working with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or alternative provisions is desirable
