Premises Manager –  
Pertemps Education is currently seeking a proactive and experienced Premises Manager to join a well-regarded school in West London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong site management experience to support the smooth running of school operations. The role is available for a September start. 
 
Location: West London 
Start Date: September 
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience  
 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the school premises, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff, and visitors 
  • Carry out regular health & safety checks, risk assessments, and fire safety procedures 
  • Manage site security, opening and closing procedures, and supervision of contractors and external services 
  • Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs, or coordinate with contractors for larger works 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for a UK school 
  • Liaise with senior leadership to prioritise tasks and report on site-related matters 
     

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience within a school setting 
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, site maintenance, and facilities management 
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across a varied workload 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach 
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
