Salary: £26,000-£28,000

About Us:
A thriving primary school located in the heart of Watford who are committed to delivering a high standard of education that promotes the development of the whole child. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team and contribute to our vibrant Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality early years education to children aged 3 to 5 years.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all children.
  • Develop and implement exciting and educational activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, keeping accurate records and providing feedback to parents and carers.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, parents, and external agencies to support children’s development and well-being.
  • Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards to ensure the safety of all children in the setting.
  • Encourage children’s independence and self-esteem while fostering a love for learning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate initiative.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
