Pertemps Education Network is working in partnership with an independent specialist SEN school in Kingston Upon Thames to recruit a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with speech, language and communication needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience within a specialist educational setting. The role would suit an aspiring Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, SEN Teacher or another professional looking to pursue a career supporting children with additional needs.
The Role
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers, specialist support staff and other professionals to help pupils access learning, develop their communication skills and build confidence and independence.

You may have a degree in:
Previous experience working with children with SEN, speech and language difficulties, autism or communication needs would be advantageous. However, applications from enthusiastic graduates with relevant transferable experience, including tutoring, mentoring, childcare, volunteering or care work, are also encouraged.
