Are you an inspiring and dedicated English Teacher looking for a new challenge this September? A highly regarded secondary school in Brent is seeking a talented educator to join their vibrant English department on a full-time, permanent basis. 
 

• Start Date: September 2025 

• Location: Brent, North West London 

• Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time 

• Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) 

 
The Role 
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The successful candidate will bring a love for literature, strong subject knowledge, and a commitment to developing confident, articulate students. 
 
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and strong ECTs. The ideal candidate will: 

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK 

• Have a degree in English or a closely related field 

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English education 

• Be confident teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is desirable) 

• Use creative and inclusive teaching strategies to engage all learners 

• Show strong behaviour management, communication, and organisational skills 

• Be committed to continuous professional development and school life
