A welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher to join their supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and nurturing teacher who is committed to helping children with additional needs thrive in a safe and engaging learning environment.
The Role
- Full-time Early Years Teacher position
- Teaching pupils within EYFS with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delay
- Delivering creative, sensory, and play-based learning opportunities
- Working closely with therapists, support staff, and parents
- Creating individualised learning plans tailored to pupil needs
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working within EYFS
- Previous SEN experience desirable but not essential
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs
