Position: Behaviour Mentor
Location: West London
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Long-term, until the end of the academic year
Pay Rate: £100 – £130 per day (depending on experience)
Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join our vibrant secondary school in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in education, youth work, or counselling who wants to support students in managing their behaviour and achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring for students with behavioural challenges
- Work closely with teaching staff and the pastoral team to develop and implement behaviour plans
- Support students in understanding and managing their emotions, promoting positive behaviour
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers, parents, and senior leadership
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for students
- Assist in reducing barriers to learning and improving overall school attendance
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them succeed
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies (desirable)
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
