Behaviour Mentor for Secondary School – West London
Position: Behaviour Mentor
Location: West London
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Long-term, until the end of the academic year
Pay Rate: £100 – £130 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join our vibrant secondary school in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in education, youth work, or counselling who wants to support students in managing their behaviour and achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring for students with behavioural challenges
  • Work closely with teaching staff and the pastoral team to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Support students in understanding and managing their emotions, promoting positive behaviour
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers, parents, and senior leadership
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment for students
  • Assist in reducing barriers to learning and improving overall school attendance

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring capacity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them succeed
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies (desirable)
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
