1:1 Teaching Assistant – Ealing – Immediate Start 
A supportive and inclusive primary school in Ealing is looking for a compassionate and resilient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide focused, individual support to a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviours, helping them access learning and reach their full potential.

Role Details 

  • Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Primary) 
  • Location: Ealing 
  • Start Date: Immediate 
  • Salary: £103 – £110 per day (dependent on experience) 

 
The Ideal Candidate Will: 

  • Have experience working in a primary school setting 
  • Have direct experience supporting children with ASD and challenging behaviour 
  • Be patient, calm, and confident when managing behaviour in a positive, supportive way 
  • Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils, staff, and families 
  • Be proactive, reflective, and passionate about supporting SEN pupils 
  • Work well as part of a supportive team, liaising with teachers and SENCO 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD and challenging behaviours 
  • Implement strategies to support emotional regulation, communication, and engagement 
  • Assist with delivering tailored learning activities based on the pupil’s EHCP 
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and SEN staff 
  • Support the pupil in navigating transitions, routines, and social interactions 
  • Contribute to creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment 
  • Foster independence and encourage positive learning behaviours
