Pertemps Education are recruiting for a Special Needs Primary Teacher to work in a special needs school located in Feltham. This is a temporary contract starting ASAP, and will be working with a KS2 class of 8 children with autism and severe learning difficulties.

  • Special needs teacher working within KS2 
  • Class of 8 children with autism and severe learning difficulties 
  • 3 other staff in the class 
  • The children are working at a communication of P3ii-P6 
  • This role involves general teacher duties including planning, completing reports and leading the class 
  • Providing positive support for the children in all aspects 
  • Monday to Friday - 8.30am-3.45pm with a 15 minute morning break and 45 minute lunch break for teachers
  • There is a teachers’ meeting every Monday until 4.30pm.
  • Daily pay rate will be £150-£200 dependent upon experience 
  • This role is open to ECT's and experienced teachers

In order to apply for this role, you must have: 
  • The relevant teaching qualifications, along with QTS 
  • Experience/exposure to working within a special needs environment 
  • Passionate about working with special educational needs and disabilities 
  • A proven track record of working with children
