The role
As a Candidate Consultant you will be working to pre-determined timeframes and SLA’s, whilst maximising the opportunity to consistently exceed monthly and quarterly targets. This role is a great start to what can lead to a long career in recruitment.
Candidate consultants are a vital cog in the recruitment wheel, assisting the sales team in finding the best candidates who are looking for work. As the candidate expert, you will implement & lead the generation strategies, so that the business can find the perfect candidates for our key clients.
You will be responsible for:

  • Researching, identifying and attracting candidates using all appropriate methods to ensure they satisfy set job requirements
  • Building a pipeline of candidates for future opportunities through face-to-face, virtual & telephone interviews
  • Creating, developing and maintaining relationships with candidates
  • Writing, placing and updating adverts in line with company procedures
  • Monitoring responses/applications received and make sure that candidates applications are processed efficiently as well as proactively and consistently strive to identify new candidates
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with candidates and Consultants
  • Provide first line support for all enquiries
  • Ensure the registration and recruitment process are adhered to in line with company standards
  • Ensuring all candidates cleared for work are compliant with internal recruitment policies and procedures
  • Assisting with the filling of client bookings when the Sales consultants are out of the office
You will:
  • Ideally have previous recruitment experience but it isn’t essential
  • Be highly self-motivated and have the ambition, drive and determination to be succeed in a career in recruitment
  • Have strong customer service and relationship building skills
  • Be able to prioritise your workload and escalate issues where necessary
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to produce highly accurate work at speed
Monday to Friday: 8.30am-5.30pm. There will be times when there will be a requirement to start & finish later than the standard hours.
