Pertemps are currently working with a number of Alternate Provisions between Sudbury & Bury St Edmunds. We are looking to take on three Learning Support or Behaviour Specialists to start either immediately or in September 2021.
Pupils who attend this AP (Alternative Provision) have for the most part been diagnosed with Complex needs & SEMH. As there are a lot of behavioural difficulties, it is essential that the successful SEN TA/ Mentor/ HLTA/ Behaviour Mentor/ Learning Mentor / Youth Worker / Child Support Worker has great experience with SEN pupils (ADHD/ Autism/CAMHS/ SEMH/ Complex Needs / ADHD/ Challenging Behaviour). In addition, the successful SEN TA must have worked in either a PRU/ AP / SEN or Mainstream School (with lots of SEN pupils).
This immediate vacancy would mean working with young people at either primary and/or secondary levels on both a 1:1 basis & within small groups. To be successful in this post, you must be resilient, supportive, empathetic, dedicated, proactive and able to build a strong rapport with children.
