Pertemps are currently looking to appoint an experienced or passionate SEN Supporting candidate to start immediately or in September 2021 at one of our partnered SEN Alternate Provisions in Suffolk.
Pupils who attend this AP (Alternative Provision) have for the most part been diagnosed with Complex needs & SEMH. As there are a lot of behavioural difficulties, it is essential that the successful SEN TA/ Mentor/ HLTA/ Behaviour Mentor/ Learning Mentor / Youth Worker / Child Support Worker has great experience with SEN pupils (ADHD/ Autism/CAMHS/ SEMH/ Complex Needs / ADHD/ Challenging Behaviour). In addition, the successful SEN TA must have worked in either a PRU/ AP / SEN or Mainstream School (with lots of SEN pupils).
This immediate vacancy would mean working with young people at either primary and/or secondary levels on both a 1:1 basis & within small groups. To be successful in this post, you must be resilient, supportive, empathetic, dedicated, proactive and able to build a strong rapport with children. This is a full time opportunity, so you must be readily available to work Monday to Friday.
