Are you a SEN Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant with experience working on a 1:1 basis at either KS2 or KS3?
An outstanding Alternative Provision in Ipswich are seeking an individual who can take on a full time position to start after the Easter Holidays.
The provisions is part of a large multi academy trust that serves the local community and is commented to be a great place to work with a friendly atmosphere. Pupils’ behaviour is second to none which creates a fantastic learning environment where the children are keen and eager to learn. The provisions have high aspirations for their pupils and want to create a safe place in which they feel inspired to learn and nurture a love of lifelong learning. This is a shared ethos between pupils and staff alike.

- Experience within a supporting role in Special Education, preferably recent (last 3 years)
- Ability to be flexible, think on your feet and provide alternative education when needs be
- Be resilient and firm but with a caring and nurturing nature
- Confidence across either KS2 or KS3 curriculm
- Can manage Challenging Behaviour on a daily basis
- Works well as a Team alongside a classroom Teacher.
