Pertemps Education are working with a “Good” graded Special Needs school based in Loughton, who are seeking a Full-Time SEN Learning Support Assistant to join them on an immediate basis. The position will be temporary for the time being, with a review of Permanent roles in January.
The school based in Loughton, cater for students aged 3-19 years, all with an ECHP and specialise in students with severe and complex needs, including Autism (ASC) and PMLD.
We are seeking SEN Learning Support Assistant’s (LSA’s) who can demonstrate the following:
- Have a caring and empathetic approach towards students, especially patience and understanding.
- Either worked in a similar setting before, such as an LSA in another SEN school, but we would also love to hear from candidates with a background in care homes, residential, nursing, nurseries and even from adult care backgrounds, including dementia.
- Happy to undertake all elements of the role from personal care through to preparing students for life after education by giving them skills for life.
You must be happy to have a DBS undertaken by Pertemps Education or demonstrate that you have a valid DBS on the Update Service.
