Pertemps Education are very proud to be working in partnership with a selection of Secondary age SEN provisions in Ipswich, Suffolk. We are looking for an individual who is suitably qualified and experienced enough to take on a Sciences KS3 or KS4 role across two sites in Ipswich.
You must be familiar and comfortable working alongside challenging behaviour (SEMH), High & Low level Autism (ASC), Emotional & Complex needs (MLD). This post starts on January 18th 2021, but we will be integrating you into the position over the second week of January.
We are looking for candidates with excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to deal with very challenging behaviour. To apply for this post must have a degree in a Science subject as well as QTS.
This fantastic SEN provision is seeking an experienced Science Teacher with the ability to teach in line with their enrichment curriculum. The school has around 40 referred pupils aged 11-16 that have Special Educational Needs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- DBS Certificate (Enhanced)
- Recent Experience within SEN
- Sciences Background
- Confidence managing a team of support amongst challenging behaviour
- Availability over this two week period to interview and register
