Tailor your CV
Remember that your CV shouldn't remain static - it should keep changing as your career progresses. Keep it up to date and be prepared to tweak and tailor it. Its primary purpose is to highlight why you’re a strong candidate for a particular role.
With each application, do your research and adjust your CV accordingly. If a school is pushing its enrichment programme, don’t forget to highlight your interests and experience to show you’re a good fit. If they’re particularly strong on behaviour, make sure you’re up on their policy. Being aware of classroom techniques that are championed in a school is useful and you can let them know from the start. You could reference your experience of similar behaviour management policies in your work experience or school placements.
