Aspiring Clinical Psychologist – Primary School Role
📍 Location: Streatham, South London
📅 Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
🕒 Contract: Full-time | Long-term
💰 Pay: £108 per day 

🌟 About the RoleA supportive and inclusive primary school in Streatham is seeking a motivated and compassionate Aspiring Clinical Psychologist to join their dedicated support team. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate or experienced support worker looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).

You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to support pupils with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.

🧠 Key Responsibilities

✅ Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
✅ Implement individual learning and behaviour support strategies
✅ Support children’s emotional regulation, social skills, and communication development
✅ Assist in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
✅ Observe, monitor, and report on pupil progress
✅ Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists

🎓 Ideal Candidate

✔ A Psychology graduate or aspiring Clinical / Educational Psychologist
✔ Experience supporting children or young people (school, care, youth work, tutoring etc.)
✔ Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Passion for child development, mental health, and inclusive education
✔ Commitment to a long-term role
