SEN Teaching Assistant – PMLD School (Bromley) Location: Bromley, South East London

Pay Rate: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role: A welcoming and well-resourced PMLD school in Bromley is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is caring, patient, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support for pupils with PMLD and complex needs.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and communication.
• Work alongside teachers and therapists to deliver individual learning plans.
• Engage pupils in sensory and therapeutic activities.
• Foster a nurturing, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children or young people with PMLD, SLD or complex SEN.
• Calm, empathetic, and proactive approach.
• Comfortable supporting with personal care.
• Familiarity with communication methods such as Makaton or PECS is beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
