Year 5 Class Teacher – Harrow Primary School – September 2025 Start
Pertemps Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher for a September 2025 start.

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm or Permanent
Salary: M1 – UPS3 + Outer London Allowance

About the Role:

  • Full-time Year 5 class teacher position
  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports pupil progress and wellbeing
  • Use assessment data effectively to inform planning and personalise learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to wider school life
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 5 (school placements considered for ECTs)
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management, planning, and assessment skills
  • Be organised, reflective, and committed to professional development
  • Be enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about supporting pupil progress
  • Be a team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative teaching environment
